Why this exists
SoFirm is built and taught by Thabiso Nxumalo, an embedded firmware engineer working hands-on with microcontrollers, RTOS, and telemetry hardware — STM32-based firmware, GSM/GPS systems, UART/SPI/I2C interfaces, and the PCB and schematic design that ties it all together.
Most embedded courses are taught by people who left the field years ago. This one is written between actual debugging sessions — so what you learn is what's currently being used to ship real hardware, not a syllabus frozen in time.
